# Can I make a Vault smaller and get money back?

No. A Vault can be made bigger and longer, but not smaller, and the sizes below a Vault's own are greyed out and read **Can't go smaller**. A term you have paid for is not shortened either.

If your billing address is in the UK or the European Economic Area and no VAT number was entered on the payment, you can cancel a payment within 14 days and get all of it back: see [Cancel a Vault and get your money back](https://www.panoramr.com/help/cancel-a-vault-within-14-days). Canceling the payment that made a Vault bigger puts it back to the size it had, as long as it is your latest payment on that Vault (if the Vault was paid for again since, that later payment is the one offered first) and the tour fits that size.
