Every key the tour editor answers: undo and redo, placing and moving hotspots, surface corners, floor plan pins, reordering lists, and closing windows.

## The short answer

Ctrl+Z (⌘Z on a Mac) undoes and Ctrl+Shift+Z (⌘⇧Z) or Ctrl+Y redoes, on the **Hotspots** tab and on the **Floor Plans** tab. On the **Hotspots** tab, Tab to a hotspot on the panorama and press Enter to select it; the arrow keys then move it 1° a press, 10° with Shift. Escape closes a window or a menu and cancels a placing or a move. The tables below list every key, tab by tab.

The keys work in the **Basic** and the **Advanced** view; a few belong to parts that only Advanced shows. They do nothing while the focus is in a text box, where Ctrl+Z undoes your typing, or while a window is open over the tab.

## Everywhere in the editor

| Keys | What they do |
|---|---|
| Tab, Shift+Tab | Move to the next or the previous button, field or hotspot. The one that has the focus is outlined |
| Enter or Space | Press the button that has the focus |
| Escape | Close the window that is open and go back to the button that opened it. Escape also closes **Replace Original File** while it makes a photo: the photo carries on |
| Escape | Close an open menu, such as your account menu or the three-dot menu of a tour in **My Tours**, and go back to its button |
| Up and Down arrows | Move through the items of an open three-dot menu |
| Left and Right arrows (or Up and Down), Home, End | Move between the tabs of a Design panel, the choices of a row of buttons, and the eight places of a position picker |
| Up and Down arrows, Home, End, Enter, Escape | In a list box of the **Design** tab: open it, move through it, choose, and close it. Tab closes it too |

## Hotspots tab

| Keys | What they do |
|---|---|
| Ctrl+Z (⌘Z) | Undo. The button at the top left of the picture does the same |
| Ctrl+Shift+Z (⌘⇧Z) or Ctrl+Y | Redo |
| Tab to a hotspot on the panorama | Each hotspot has a focus target named `Edit hotspot:` and its title |
| Enter or Space on a hotspot | Select it, as a click does |
| Arrow keys on the selected hotspot | Move it 1° left, right, up or down. Shift: 10°. Its new place is read out, and a run of presses is one undo step |
| **Move hotspot**, then Enter | The button in the hotspot's header (its tooltip is `Move: click the panorama where it goes`) waits for a place: click the panorama where the hotspot goes, or press Enter to put it in the middle of the view. A small cross marks the middle |
| **Add Infotation**, **Add Link Hotspot** or **Add Surface Media**, then Enter | Put the new hotspot in the middle of the view instead of clicking the panorama |
| Escape | Cancel a placing or a move that waits |

With no hotspot selected, the side panel lists **Hotspots on this panorama** as buttons: pressing one selects that hotspot and puts the focus in its header. Everything on this tab saves by itself: see [Edit hotspots with someone else at the same time](https://www.panoramr.com/help/edit-hotspots-at-the-same-time).

### Surface corners

A surface media hotspot ([Surface media](https://www.panoramr.com/help/surface-media), in the **Advanced** view) has four corner buttons while **Edit Corners** is on: **Top-left corner**, **Top-right corner**, **Bottom-right corner** and **Bottom-left corner**.

| Keys | What they do |
|---|---|
| Arrow keys on a corner button | Move that corner 1°, 10° with Shift. Its handle on the panorama is drawn bigger while the button has the focus |
| Enter on a corner button, then Enter again | Put that corner in the middle of the view. A click on the panorama after the first Enter puts it there instead |
| Escape | Cancel placing a corner |

## Floor Plans tab

| Keys | What they do |
|---|---|
| **Add pin** | Put a pin in the middle of the plan, selected, with the focus on it |
| Tab to a pin | Each pin is named after its panorama, such as `Pin 3: Kitchen` |
| Enter or Space on a pin | Select it |
| Arrow keys on a pin | Move it 1% of the plan, 10% with Shift. A run of presses is one undo step |
| Delete or Backspace on a pin | Remove it. The focus moves to the pin that takes its place in the list, or to **Add pin** when none is left |
| **Move**, then a click on the plan | Put the selected pin there. Escape, or **Move** again, cancels |
| Ctrl+Z (⌘Z), Ctrl+Shift+Z (⌘⇧Z) or Ctrl+Y | Undo and redo the changes to the pins of the plan on screen |

In the **Calibrate Radar Offset** window, Tab to the cone: the arrow keys turn it 1° (10° with Shift), Page Up and Page Down turn it 10°, and Home points it straight up the plan. See [Add floor plans and minimaps to your tour](https://www.panoramr.com/help/adding-floor-plans-and-interactive-minimaps-to-your-tours).

## Putting a list in order

The lists you can drag into order also have buttons beside each row, for a keyboard or a finger. They are named after the row (`Move Kitchen up`, `Move Kitchen down`), and the focus stays on the button after the move, so pressing Enter again moves the row on. They are on:

- the scenes table of the **Tour** tab;
- the panorama list of the **Panoramas** tab, while the list is not narrowed by the search or a group and **Select several** is off;
- the icon lists of the bar panels on the **Design** tab;
- the **Menu builder** of the **Top nav bar – multi menu**, where each row also has buttons to move it out of its submenu or into the item above, and to remove it ([Build a Top Nav Bar - Multi Menu](https://www.panoramr.com/help/creating-a-custom-tour-menu-and-asset-library)).

In the list of photos you are adding, a row with a grip moves up and down with the Up and Down arrow keys while its grip has the focus.

## Names and boxes

| Where | Keys |
|---|---|
| A photo's name in the list of photos you are adding | Enter or F2 opens the name box. Enter saves the name, Tab saves it and goes to the next photo's name (Shift+Tab: the one before), Escape leaves the name as it was |
| Renaming a file or a folder on the **Assets** tab | Enter saves, Escape cancels |
| The name of a floor plan | Enter saves |
| A one-line box on the **Hotspots** tab (a title, an address) | Enter hands the text over to be saved |
| **Blur faces or plates** window | Escape cancels the area you are drawing. Delete or Backspace takes the chosen area (the last one drawn, or the one you clicked in the list) off the list |
| The place search on the **Google Street View** pane of the **Publish** tab | Up and Down arrows move through the places found, Enter takes the one marked (or searches), Escape closes the list |

## In the tour

Visitors of a published tour, and you on the **Preview** tab, have the player's own keys: Tab to the picture and to each hotspot, Enter to open one, the arrow keys to turn the view, plus and minus to zoom. [Accessibility in a tour](https://www.panoramr.com/help/accessibility-settings-reduced-motion-and-screen-reader-support-in-360) lists them.

## Troubleshooting

**Ctrl+Z undoes my typing, not the hotspot.** The focus is in a text box. Click the panorama or press Tab until the focus leaves the box, then press Ctrl+Z.

**The arrow keys do not move the hotspot.** Select it first: Tab to it and press Enter, or click it. Only the selected hotspot moves, and only while it has the focus.

**Enter does not place the hotspot.** Nothing is waiting to be placed: press **Move hotspot** or one of the add buttons first. The small cross in the middle of the view shows that something waits.

**Undo left a hotspot as it was.** Someone else changed that hotspot after your step, and undo never takes back their work. See [Edit hotspots with someone else at the same time](https://www.panoramr.com/help/edit-hotspots-at-the-same-time#undo-and-someone-elses-work).

**The move buttons are missing from the panorama list.** Clear the search box and the group filter, and close **Select several**.
