# Panoramr picks on Explore

What a Panoramr pick is, where picked tours and Panoramrs show on Explore, how you hear that yours was picked, and when a pick leaves the row.

## The short answer

Panoramr picks are tours and Panoramrs (360 photo posts) that our team chooses to show first on Explore, marked `Panoramr pick`. Only our team picks: the app has no button to ask for a pick or to turn one down. When a tour or a Panoramr of yours is picked, a line in your notifications says so.

## On the website's Explore

At the top of [Explore](https://www.panoramr.com/explore), before the list of tours:

- **The big card** is the newest pick: its picture, the `Panoramr pick` badge, the tour's name and description, who made it, and **Open tour**.
- **A row headed Panoramr picks** has the next eight picks, newest first. On a narrow screen it scrolls sideways.
- **See all picks**, when there are more, lists every pick, newest first. The category list and the search still narrow it, and **All tours** goes back to the whole of Explore.

The big card and the row show on the first page of Explore while it shows all categories, with no search, and not only **Panoramas** or **People I follow**. A picked tour carries the `Panoramr pick` badge wherever it is listed on Explore.

A tour can be picked while it is on Explore (see [Share a tour](https://www.panoramr.com/help/share-a-tour)), is not in the trash, and has not been taken offline by our team.

## On the social site's Explore

The social site's Explore, `app.panoramr.com/explore`, has two rows at the top of its first page while nothing is searched:

- **Panoramr picks**: the newest eight picked Panoramrs, each marked `Panoramr pick`. **See all** lists every pick, newest first, under `Every Panoramr pick, newest first`, with **All of Explore** to go back. A picked Panoramr in the **Most liked** list carries the mark too.
- **Picked tours**: the newest eight tours picked for the website's Explore. Each opens the tour's page on the social site, and **See all** goes to the website's list of picks.

A Panoramr can be picked while its photo is not in the Trash and no report about it is waiting for our team. Nothing by someone you have blocked, or who has blocked you, is in either row. See [Post a 360 photo to Explore](https://www.panoramr.com/help/post-a-360-photo).

## When yours is picked

A line in your notifications reads `Panoramr pick`, then `Your tour "<tour>" was picked for Explore.` or `Your Panoramr "<title>" was picked for Explore.` It is not emailed. See [Notifications](https://www.panoramr.com/help/notifications).

## When a pick leaves

| What happens | The pick |

| You take the tour off Explore, it is moved to the trash, or our team takes it offline while a report is looked at | Leaves the big card and the row, and comes back when the tour is on Explore again |

| Our team removes the pick | Ends. Nobody is told, and the tour or Panoramr stays on Explore like any other |
| Newer picks are made | The row shows the newest eight, so an older pick moves to **See all picks** or **See all** |

## Troubleshooting

**My tour was picked but it is not in the row.** Eight picks fit in the row and the newest is the big card: open **See all picks**. If it is not there either, check that the tour is still on Explore.

**I was told my Panoramr was picked, and I cannot find it.** Open the social site's Explore without a search, and press **See all** beside **Panoramr picks**. A Panoramr whose photo is in the Trash is not shown until you restore it.

**How do I get my tour picked?** There is no request for it in the app: picks are chosen by our team from what is on Explore.
