For creators

Build the tour. Hand over the hosting.

Make a tour for a client and send it to them. They take it over with a Vault of their own, the tour moves into their account, and you stay on it to keep it up to date.

Three ways to host a client's tour

The usual way

Your client pays

You offer the tour from its Settings tab. Your client looks at it, chooses a Vault and pays. The tour moves into their account, and they renew it from then on.

Hosting as part of your fee

You pay first

Put the tour in a Vault you bought for a set time, then hand it over. The Vault goes with the tour and your client has nothing to pay now. A Vault that renews by itself cannot go with it, because it is billed to your card.

No handover

You keep hosting it

Leave the tour in your own account, in your plan's hosting or in a Vault of yours, and invite your client as a viewer or an editor. You renew it, and you decide what to charge for that.

How a handover works

  1. 1

    Offer the tour

Open the tour's Settings tab and, under Project Collaborators, click Hand over to client. Type your client's email address, add a message if you like, and choose who pays.

  2. 2

    Your client looks

They get an email with a link to look at the tour without signing in. The offer stays open for 30 days.

  3. 3

    They take it over

They make an account with that email address if they have none, choose a Vault that fits the tour and pay.

  4. 4

    The tour moves

The scenes, hotspots, floor plans, design and settings move into their account. A big tour takes a few minutes, and nobody can edit it while it moves.

  5. 5

    You stay on it

You keep the access you chose: administrator, editor or viewer. Or you leave the tour altogether.

What you and your client keep

You

  • Access as an administrator, an editor or a viewer, as you chose
  • Room in your plan: the tour's panoramas leave your count when it moves
  • The right to withdraw the offer until your client has paid
  • Mails about the Vault's end, if you ask for them

Your client

  • A tour with no Panoramr branding while the Vault runs, in their own design
  • Their own account, their own invoices and their own renewals
  • A tour that keeps playing if you delete your account, because its files are copied into theirs
  • Where the law gives them the right, 14 days to cancel a payment

Who pays for what

While you own the tour
You: your plan's hosting, or a Vault of yours.
After a handover
Your client: the Vault they chose when they took the tour over.
When a Vault ends
Nothing is deleted. After 7 days' grace the tour stays online with Panoramr's branding, and the branding goes again as soon as the Vault is renewed.
A refund
It goes back to the card that paid.

Questions

Which plans can hand a tour over?

Pro, Agency and Enterprise. Only the owner of a tour can hand it over.

Does my client need an account first?

No. They make one, with the email address you invited, when they take the tour over. They can look at the tour before that.

Can I still edit the tour after it is handed over?

Yes, if you kept administrator or editor access. Your client can change what you are allowed to do.

What if my client never answers?

The offer lapses after 30 days and the tour stays yours. You can also withdraw it yourself until your client has paid.

How big a tour can I hand over?

Up to 250 panoramas, which is what the biggest Vault holds. For more than that, contact us.

Can I give a tour to a colleague without a Vault?

Yes. Transferring a tour to a collaborator's account is separate, and needs no Vault.

Ready to hand over your first tour?

Your client pays on Stripe's secure page. Nothing is charged until they do.
