How do I choose where a scene starts looking?
Last checked 29 October 2026
Open the tour's Panoramas tab, click the scene in Panorama List, drag the picture on Panorama Settings until what visitors should see first is in the middle, and click Set Initial View. There is no Save button: the view is saved at once. The same button is on the Hotspots tab.
The direction and the tilt are saved for this tour only, so the same photo can open differently in another tour. A scene you have not set opens level, with no tilt. The zoom is not saved with the view: every scene opens at the tour's Initial zoom (FOV), an Advanced setting on the Camera tab of Transitions and cameras.
No plan is needed. A tour with Draft Workflows on shows the old view to visitors until you click Publish changes. Set the starting view of a scene has the details and what to do when a link opens a scene facing another way.
