Fix a tilted horizon in a 360 photo
Panoramr has no leveling tool. Straighten the horizon in the app that made the photo, then use Replace Original File: hotspots and links stay.

The short version
Panoramr has no leveling tool, so a tilted horizon cannot be corrected in the editor. Straighten the photo in the app or program that made it, export it again, and put the new file in with Replace Original File. The scene keeps its name, hotspots and links.
Why there is no tool here
The tour editor has no Level, Pitch or Roll control, and no Auto-Level button. An earlier version of this page described a Level tool; it is not in the app today. Tilt has to be fixed in the photo itself.
Fix the photo, then replace it
- Open the original photo in the app that made or stitched it, or in any program that can level a 360 panorama. Look for its tool for leveling or straightening the horizon (the name differs from program to program) and use it until the horizon and the vertical lines, such as door frames, look right as you look around.
- Export a new flat 360 file, as a JPEG or a TIFF: it must be twice as wide as it is tall. Photo requirements has the size limits.
- In Panoramr, open the tour, click the Panoramrs tab and select the scene in Panorama List.
- Click Replace Original File. In the window that opens, stay on Upload New, tick Regenerate Thumbnail? so the thumbnail shows the straightened picture, and drop the new file.
- Wait for the window to close. The scene then shows the new picture.
Replace or swap a panorama explains each part of that window and what a replacement keeps.
What stays, and what to check
A replacement puts the new picture into the same panorama. These stay: its name and description, its hotspots and the links to it, each tour's initial view, group and image adjustments for the scene, and the map location you set. Every tour that uses the panorama gets the straightened picture.
Hotspots and the initial view are stored as angles on the picture, not as points on the objects in it. After the horizon moves, an object can sit at a slightly different angle from before, so a hotspot may look a little off. Open the Hotspots tab, check each scene you replaced and drag any hotspot that moved. If the scene opens facing the wrong way, click Set Initial View again.
Troubleshooting
I cannot find a Level tool. There is none. Straighten the photo outside Panoramr, as described above.
The horizon is still tilted after I replaced the photo. The file you exported was not level, or you are looking at an old copy. Check the exported file in another viewer. A replacement drops the stored page of each published tour that uses the panorama, but a tour with Draft Workflows on keeps its published page until somebody clicks Publish Changes: see Replace or swap a panorama.
The thumbnail still shows the tilted picture. Tick Regenerate Thumbnail? when you replace the file, or click Upload Thumbnail on the Panoramrs tab afterwards.
The new file was refused. Check its type, its 2:1 shape and its size against Photo requirements, and read Fix upload problems.
