The short answer
Open a tour's Panoramrs tab, select a scene and click Image Adjustments (in the Advanced view). Sliders change the scene's brightness, color and more, and 3D Weather Physics adds snow, rain or floating dust. A change is saved when you let go of a slider or pick an option, and it belongs to that scene in that tour.
There is no lens flare, sun or light-source effect. These controls change the picture only, not the hotspots or the bars.
Who can use it
- The owner, and by default Admin and Editor collaborators: it is on the Panoramrs tab, which a Viewer does not see. The owner can change this under Client Workspaces in My Account.
- Every plan can use it: no plan check applies.
Adjust a scene
- Open the tour's Panoramrs tab and select a scene in the Panorama List.
- Click Image Adjustments, the second tab on the left (in the Advanced view).
- Choose a Preset Filter, or move the sliders. Each is saved when you let go, and the message
Saved automatically.appears below the scene's details. - Reset Defaults sets every slider back and saves. It leaves the weather alone.
| Slider | Range | Starts at | What it does |
|---|---|---|---|
| Brightness, Contrast, Saturation | 0 to 200% | 100% | Below 100% lowers it, above raises it |
| Hue Rotation | -180° to 180° | 0° | Turns every color around the color wheel |
| Sharpness | 0 to 200% | 0% | Sharpens edges |
| Colour Temperature | -100 to 100 | 0 | Cooler (blue) to warmer (orange) |
| Tint | -100 to 100 | 0 | Green to magenta |
| Vignette | 0 to 100% | 0% | Darkens the corners |
| Exposure | 0 to 2x | 1x | Multiplies the light |
| Shadows Recovery | -100 to 100 | 0 | Lifts or deepens the dark parts |
| Defringe (Remove Chromatic Aberration) | 0 to 100% | 0% | Takes color out of magenta and green fringes |
| HDR Effect | 0 to 100% | 0% | Blends in a filmic tone curve |
The Preset Filter list has None (Standard), Grayscale (black and white), Sepia, Vintage, Invert, High Contrast & Vibrant and Cinematic Nighttime. Choosing one sets Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Hue Rotation, Colour Temperature, Tint, Vignette and Exposure to its values, and leaves the other four sliders as they are. Invert turns the hue by 180°: it does not make a negative.
Add weather
- In the same tab, find 3D Weather Physics and open Weather System.
- Choose Snow (soft white dots drifting down), Rain (small pale dots falling fast) or Floating Dust / Motes (sand-colored dots drifting every way). Clear (Off) removes it.
- Three sliders appear once a type is chosen, each from 1 to 100% and starting at 50%: Particle Intensity (how many of up to 10,000 particles are drawn), Fall Speed and Particle Size.
The particles turn with the view, and each scene has its own weather.
What is saved and who sees it
- Per scene, per tour. The settings are saved with the scene's place in this tour. Another tour that uses the same photo is not changed, and neither is the photo file: thumbnails and lists keep the original look. They stay when you use Replace Original File.
- Every plan. They belong to the scene, not to the design, so visitors see them on a Free plan too.
- Where you see them. The Panoramrs tab and the Preview tab show them. The Hotspots tab shows the picture without them.
- Refresh. Each save refreshes the stored copy that visitors get, for every tour that uses the photo, unless Draft Workflows is on: then nothing reaches visitors until you click Publish Changes. See My changes do not show for visitors.
- Explore page. It loads the player only after a visitor clicks the play button on its picture.
Troubleshooting
The sliders do not appear. The tab needs a selected scene. A tour with no scenes has none.
I moved a slider and the Hotspots tab looks the same. That tab always draws the picture without adjustments and weather. Use the Panoramrs tab or the Preview tab.
Visitors do not see my change. Check that the stored copy is refreshed and that Draft Workflows is not holding it: My changes do not show for visitors.
Another tour that uses this photo looks different. The settings belong to each tour's own copy of the scene. Set them again there.
The weather sliders are missing. Weather System is on Clear (Off). Choose a type.
