Can I password protect a tour?
Last checked 22 October 2026
Yes, on a hosted tour. On the Hosting pane of the Publish tab, under Who can open it, choose Only people who know the password, type a password of at least 8 characters and click Save who can open it. Visitors are asked for it once and their browser remembers it for 30 days. Only people you send the link to keeps a tour to its link without a password. Only the tour's owner can change it, and hosting is needed, in your plan or in a Vault. A draft is private anyway: to show one to a client, invite them as a Viewer on the Settings tab (in the Advanced view; they need a Panoramr account). Who can see a tour explains each choice.
