Where is my data stored?
Last checked 1 November 2026
Panoramr is based in the United Kingdom, and some of the companies that run it for us handle data in other countries, the United States among them. They are named in the Privacy Policy and on the sub-processors page: DigitalOcean (the servers), Cloudflare, Stripe, Mailgun and others.
Where personal data goes to a country the UK has not found to protect it adequately, the transfer relies on a safeguard the UK recognises: the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for a company certified under it, and otherwise the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguard for any of them, on the Contact us page. The Privacy Policy's section on international transfers has the details.
Your photos, tiles and published tours are stored in the region your account is in: Europe (Amsterdam) unless you chose another on Data location in My Account. See Choose where your files are stored. Your account and billing details stay in the UK and the EU.
