Does a tour set cookies on my visitors?
Last checked 30 October 2026
Not by itself. A visitor who opens a tour, on Panoramr or embedded in your website, is given no session cookie, and views are counted without one: Panoramr keeps a one-way code made from the visitor's address and browser for one hour, then forgets it.
A tour sets a cookie in two cases only, when the visitor does something: panoramr_consent keeps their answer if they answer Panoramr's question about cookies (for example to let YouTube and Vimeo videos in tours play without asking each time), and tour_access lets them open a password tour again for 30 days after they typed its password. A YouTube or Vimeo video shows a play button first and loads nothing from that site until it is pressed. The Cookie Policy lists every cookie.
