How much does a 360° virtual tour cost?
What a 360° virtual tour costs: the camera or a photographer, the software and the hosting, with Panoramr's prices and other tour makers' side by side.

In short
A 360° virtual tour has three costs. The photos, from your own 360° camera (the Insta360 X4 was £299 on 1 November 2026) or from a 360° photographer, who sets their own price. The software to build it, which is free in Panoramr. And the hosting that keeps it online: free with Panoramr's branding, a yearly plan or a Vault for your own branding. Most other tour makers charge a monthly or yearly subscription. The tables below give every price.
The three costs
Every 360° virtual tour, whoever makes it, is paid for in three parts:
- The 360° photos. Either your own 360° camera and a tripod, or a 360° photographer's time.
- The software that builds the tour: linking the rooms, adding notes, a floor plan and your design.
- The hosting that keeps the tour online for visitors, and whether it shows your branding or the software maker's.
Some services bundle all three; with Panoramr you pay only for the third, and only when you want your own branding.
The photos
Your own camera. A current 360° camera costs from a few hundred pounds: the Insta360 X4 was £299 and the X5 £519.99 in Insta360's UK store on 1 November 2026. Add a tripod or a light stand. How to choose a 360° camera compares nine cameras with their makers' prices. A camera pays for itself if you make tours often, for every listing or every venue.
A 360° photographer. Each sets their own price, usually by the property or the number of photos. Panoramr's Hire a Creator directory lists 360° photographers by area; ask two or three for a price for the same job. Many build the tour as well and hand it over to your account.
The software and the hosting in Panoramr
Making a tour in Panoramr is free, on every plan: upload the photos, link the rooms, add the floor plan and notes, design it and preview it. You pay to put tours online without Panoramr's branding.
| How the tour is online | What it costs |
|---|---|
| Free publishing, with Panoramr's branding | Free: 10 tours, 250 panoramas |
| Pro plan: your own branding, 250 panoramas online at once, shared by your tours | £99 a year |
| Agency plan (coming soon): 360 panoramas online at once | £360 a year, or £36 a month |
| A Vault: one tour, your own branding, on any plan, up to 10 panoramas | £19 for a year, £49 for three, £75 for five |
| A Vault for up to 36 panoramas | £36 for a year, £70 for three, £99 for five |
| A Vault for up to 100 panoramas | £59 for a year, £109 for three, £149 for five |
| A Vault for up to 250 panoramas | £99 for a year, £189 for three, £249 for five |
A Vault suits one tour that should stay online for years, such as a venue's; a plan suits many tours that come and go, such as an agent's listings. The pricing page has every plan and the Vaults page every size.

Questions
Is there a free virtual tour maker?
Yes. Panoramr is free to make tours with, with no time limit: a free account can publish 10 tours with Panoramr's branding, and the free virtual tour maker shows how to start. You pay only to host a tour with your own branding.
Do I pay per tour or per month?
Neither, in Panoramr. A plan is paid by the year and its hosting is shared by all your tours; a Vault is paid up front for one tour, for one, three or five years. Most of the other tour makers above charge by the month or the year.
What does a 360° photographer charge?
Each sets their own price, so there is no single figure: ask two or three photographers in your area for a price for the same property. Hire a Creator lists them.
Is it cheaper to buy a 360° camera or hire a photographer?
It depends on how often you need one. For a single tour, a photographer saves you buying and learning a camera. For a tour every week, such as each new listing, your own camera means no booking and no waiting: the tour can go up the same day.
