For sport and leisure

Virtual tours for gyms, clubs, stadiums and leisure centres

Show new members the gym floor, the pool and the changing rooms before they join, and show fans and hospitality guests the view from their seat before they buy.

In short

A sports or leisure virtual tour links 360° photos of your facilities, from reception to the pool, so people can look round on your website before they join, book or buy a ticket. A button in the tour sends them to your membership or ticket page. Making the tour in Panoramr is free; hosting it without Panoramr’s branding costs from £36 a year, in a Vault of up to 36 photos.

How clubs and venues use a tour

  • Win new members

The gym floor, the classes studio and the pool, seen before the first visit: fewer nerves, more sign-ups.

  • Sell the view from the seat

Fans and hospitality guests stand where they would sit, before they buy the ticket or the box.

  • The clubhouse and the course

Golf, tennis and sailing clubs show the clubhouse, the bar and the first tee to new members and visitors.

  • Hire out the space

Halls, pitches and function rooms shown to the teams and companies who hire them.

What to photograph

Shoot at a quiet time, with every light on and equipment tidy.

How to take the photos
  • Reception and the way in
  • The gym floor, from its centre
  • Studios set up for a class
  • The pool, the spa and the sauna
  • Changing rooms, when empty
  • The view from the stands and the hospitality boxes
  • The clubhouse, bar and terrace
  • Courts, pitches and the first tee

Two ways to get the photos

A tour is a 360° photo of each space, linked together. Who takes them is up to you.

Hire a professional

A 360° photographer shoots each space and hands you the photos. Many build the whole tour in Panoramr too, and hand it over to your account, ready to publish.

Take your own

With a 360° camera and a tripod, one press takes a whole room. Export the photos from the camera’s app and upload them.

What sports venues use most

  • Booking and shop buttons

Join now, book a class, buy tickets: a button in the top menu or a link in the scene.

    How it works
  • Video in the scene

Play a class or match highlights on a screen in the photo, or in a window.

    How it works
  • Floors and areas

Group the spaces: Gym, Pool, Clubhouse, Stadium, so visitors go straight to theirs.

    How it works
  • Floor plan with a live map

Upload a floor plan and pin each room on it. Visitors see a small map in a corner, with a cone that shows which way they are looking.

    How it works
  • Turns by itself on a screen

Turn the view slowly on the screen in reception while nobody touches it.

    How it works
  • Visitor numbers

Each tour’s Analytics tab counts its unique visitors, and Global Analytics adds up all your tours. Search engines’ robots are not counted.

How a tour is made

  1. 1

    Upload your photos

Open Create Tour, give the tour a name and drop your photos in. No sign-up and no card. They are prepared in your browser, and the tour uploads by itself when they are ready.

  2. 2

    Design it

Choose a theme, then make it yours: colours, menus, buttons and the look of each hotspot. Choose where visitors start looking in each room.

  3. 3

    Link the rooms

Add hotspots so visitors can walk from one room to the next, and add text, pictures, video or a floor plan where they help.

  4. 4

    Keep it

Create a free account and the tour is yours. A guest tour is deleted after 2 days.

  5. 5

    Put it online

Publish it free with Panoramr’s branding, or buy a Vault for it to take the branding off.

  6. 6

    Share it

Paste its embed code into your website, and send its link by email or post it on social media.

Questions

Can people join or book from the tour?

They click through to your membership or booking page from a button or a link. The tour has no form of its own.

Can we show the view from different seats?

Yes. Take a 360° photo from each stand or box and link them, so fans compare the views.

Can a chain host every gym together?

Yes. The Pro plan hosts 250 photos at once without Panoramr branding, shared by every tour, and Agency 360.

Can it play on a screen in reception?

Yes. Autorotate on Idle turns the view slowly. Panoramr has no kiosk mode that moves from room to room by itself.

How much does it cost?

Making it is free. Hosting it without our branding costs from £36 a year, in a Vault of up to 36 photos.

Ways to share it

  • On your own website

Copy the embed code from the tour’s Publish tab and paste it into your page. It works with WordPress, Squarespace, Wix and most other sites.

    How to embed a tour
  • By its link

Send the tour’s address by email, put it in a booking confirmation or a newsletter, or post it on social media.

  • On Explore

Panoramr’s gallery of tours, with buttons to share yours on X, Facebook, LinkedIn and by email. A free tour is always listed there; a hosted one only if you want.

  • Only with your team

Keep it private while you work on it, and invite colleagues or your web designer to view or edit it with you.
