The public gallery: browse looks for a tour before you use one

How the public Designs gallery works: the industry filter, a design's page with its live preview, the Pro badge and how to put a design on your own tour.

On this page

The Designs gallery is a public page where anyone can look at the designs Panoramr offers for a 360° tour, each shown on a real sample tour they can look around, before they make an account. This page lists what the gallery has and what each part does. To use a design on your own tour, see Themes and My Designs.

Who can use it. Everybody, without an account. It exists only while Panoramr's team has it switched on; while it is off, the gallery, a design's page, the previews and the links to them are gone and the addresses show "not found". The designs shown are the ones the team has made public and active.

Where. Designs at www.panoramr.com/designs, linked from the footer, the list of company pages beside About and Contact, the Site Map, and the home and pricing pages (each of these links shows only while the gallery is on).

All designs

A grid with a card for each design, in the order Panoramr lists them.

Where: Designs, under the heading "Designs for your tours". Default: Every design shown. What it does: Each card has the design's picture, name and short description. Opening a card shows the design's own page. If there are no designs, the page says "There are no designs to show here yet." What visitors see: The grid, then a panel "Put a design on your own panoramas" with a Create a free account button. While the Try page is on, a link below it, "try it first with your own panoramas, no sign-up", starts a try tour. Related: Try without an account.

Filter by industry

Buttons that show only the designs made for one kind of place.

Where: Designs, a row of buttons above the grid: All designs and one for each industry that at least one design is tagged for. Default: All designs. What it does: Shows only the cards with that tag, with no new page load. A button appears only for an industry that has a design. What visitors see: A shorter grid. Related: All designs.

Design card

One design's card.

Where: Designs and under "More designs" on a design's page. Default: Shown for a design that is active and public. What it does: Links to the design's page. A Pro design carries a badge. What visitors see: The design's picture, name and description. Related: Pro themes.

A design's page

Pro design

A badge on a design that a free account can try but not publish for free.

Where: A design's page, beside its name, and on its card. Default: Shown only for a Pro design. What it does: Marks the design. Building and previewing a tour in any design is free. A tour in a Pro design is published as part of a Pro plan or a Vault for that tour, and downloading it in your own design is part of a Pro or Agency plan. A tour in a free design can be published free with Panoramr's branding. What visitors see: The badge, and the matching sentence in the panel Use it on your own tour. Related: Pro themes.

Preview size

Two buttons that frame the sample tour as a computer or a phone.

Where: A design's page, above the preview: Desktop and Phone. Default: Desktop. What it does: Changes the size of the frame the sample tour is shown in. Drag in it to look around and open the hotspots. The sample is one tour that Panoramr's team chose, in the design's own look; it is the same for everyone, is built from the design's current settings, and is kept for a few minutes. What visitors see: The player in the chosen size. Until there is a sample tour, a picture of the design and the words "A live preview of this design is on its way." take its place. Needs: A sample tour chosen by Panoramr's team. Related: All designs.

Use it on your own tour

A panel that says what using the design costs and starts a tour.

Where: A design's page, under the preview. Default: Shown on every design page. What it does: Explains publishing and downloading for this design (see Pro design) and offers Try it with my panoramas while the Try page is on, and Create a free account always. What visitors see: The two buttons. Trying needs no account: upload panoramas, try the design on them, then make an account to keep the tour. Related: Try without an account.

More designs

Three other designs, so a visitor can keep browsing.

Where: A design's page, at the foot. Default: Three designs, never the same one. What it does: Shows the first three other designs in the platform's order. A link All designs above the page's name returns to the gallery. What visitors see: Three cards. Related: Design card.

Troubleshooting

The Designs address shows "not found". Panoramr's team has switched the gallery off. Designs are still available inside the editor: Themes and My Designs.

A design's preview is a picture, not a tour. No sample tour has been chosen yet. Try the design on your own panoramas instead.

The preview is blank in my browser. The preview is a framed page; a browser that blocks frames or JavaScript shows nothing. Try another browser.
