Invite collaborators to a tour and set their role
Share one tour with a client or colleague as Viewer, Editor or Admin, see what each role can open, and remove them. There are no teams and no seat counter.

The short answer
Panoramr has no teams or shared workspaces: you share one tour at a time. Open the tour's Settings tab (in the Advanced view), type the person's email under Project Collaborators, choose an Access Level and click Share. The person gets a role on that tour only (Viewer, Editor or Admin), and you can change or remove it at any time.
Who can do it
- The tour's owner. Only the owner sees Project Collaborators. Admins, Editors and Viewers cannot invite anyone.
- With a confirmed email address. Until yours is confirmed, Share sends you to the Check your inbox page, even during a grace period: see Why can't I publish my tour?.
- On any plan, Free included, but not on a free-trial guest tour: create your account first. The person you invite needs an account, on any plan.
Invite someone
- Open the tour and click its Settings tab (click Advanced at the right end of the tab row first if the tab is not there).
- Under Project Collaborators, type the person's Email Address.
- Choose an Access Level: Viewer, Editor or Admin. Editor is selected to begin with.
- Click Share.
The page says We have emailed <address> about this tour. They get access as soon as they have a confirmed account with that address. It reads the same whether or not the address has an account. What happens next:
| The address | What happens |
|---|---|
| Has an account with a confirmed email | The person is added at once, under Active People. They get an email and a line in their notifications, and have nothing to accept. |
| Has no account, or one that is not confirmed | The invitation waits under Pending Invitations for 14 days. The email leads to a sign-up page that names you and the tour. When the person signs up with that address and confirms it, the tour is added with your role. |
The invitation belongs to the address you typed. If the person's account uses another address, invite that one.
A waiting row shows Good until <date>. After that it reads Expired: invite again to renew it, and it is removed a month later. Click Share again to renew it for 14 days: a new email goes out, unless the same role was sent in the last 10 minutes (<address> has already been emailed about this tour, so it was not sent again.). The X on a row, whose tooltip is Revoke Invite, cancels it. Share can be used 20 times an hour and 100 times a day, and 3 times a day for one address.
What each role can open
- Viewer: the Tour, Preview and Analytics tabs. The editor has no comment or annotation tool for reviewers.
- Editor: those three, plus Panoramrs, Floor Plans, Assets and Hotspots, and deleting scenes.
- Admin: an Editor's tabs plus Design, Settings and Publish.
These are the defaults. You change them for all your tours on the Client Workspaces page. To change one person's role, use the list beside their name under Active People: it takes effect at once and nobody is told. Every collaborator, a Viewer included, can upload a new thumbnail for the tour and click Publish Changes when Draft Workflows is on.
What only you can do
- Everything on this page: invite, change roles, remove people and cancel invitations.
- Offer the tour to a collaborator.
- Tick or untick Publish to Global Showcase, Host in my plan, Published and Mark as featured tour, and put the tour in a Vault. An Admin who changes one gets
Only the tour owner can change this setting. - Hand the tour over to a client.
- Restore the tour from the trash.
- Set the limits: they are your plan's, and what a collaborator uploads to your tour counts against your account.
Remove someone
- Under Active People, click the X beside the person (its tooltip is Remove Access) and confirm
Are you sure you want to remove this collaborator? - The page says
Collaborator removed successfully.Their access ends at once, and they are not told, unless you had offered them the tour: then the offer is withdrawn and they get an email saying so.
Files they added to the tour's Assets tab become yours, and the scenes they uploaded were yours already. A scene they attached from their own Asset Library stays theirs: it stays in the tour, and leaves it if they delete their account. A collaborator has no button to leave a tour and has to ask you.
What a collaborator sees
The tour appears in My Tours under All Tours and Shared with a yellow Shared with me badge, and in the Shared section of the Dashboard with their role. Their tab row shows only what their role includes, and a draft tour opens for them. You see the tours you share under Shared too, marked Shared by me.
Plans and seats
The plan cards do not mention user seats, and the app has no seat counter: nothing compares the number of people on your tours with any number, and a Free account can invite too. What limits a collaborator's work is the owner's plan: see Plans and limits.
Troubleshooting
Share takes me to the Check your inbox page. Your own email address is not confirmed. Click the link in the email we sent you, then invite again.
You have sent so many invitations lately. Please try again in N minutes. You used Share 20 times in an hour or 100 times in a day. That address has been invited several times today. Please try again tomorrow. means that address has been invited three times today, by anyone.
The person got no email, or signed up and cannot see the tour. Ask them to look in spam: the email waits in a queue and can be late. They must confirm the address, and it must be the one you invited, within the 14 days. If the row reads Expired: invite again to renew it, click Share again.
A collaborator is missing a tab or gets a 403 error. Their role does not include it: see Client Workspaces. After the owner saves that page, Editors and Admins no longer have Assets.
