The short answer
Click your name or picture at the top right (on a narrow screen, the menu button), then My Account, then Plan & billing. The page shows your plan, what it costs and when it is next paid for, what you have used of it, and a card for each plan with the one button that is right for you: Start a plan if you have none, otherwise Upgrade to a higher plan, Switch to yearly or Switch to monthly for the same plan, or Move to a lower one. For a plan you have, the button opens a page that says what the change does, and its Continue to Stripe button opens Stripe's own page, which shows the amount and asks you to confirm. Cancel plan opens Stripe's page for cancelling. When a plan ends, the account moves to Free and that plan's rules apply: the app deletes nothing, and a tour that no longer fits becomes private.
Who can do it
- Any signed-in account. The plan belongs to the account, not to a tour. Without an account you can still buy Pro or Agency: see If you have no account yet.
- Buying needs a confirmed email address. If the amber bar at the top of the page gives you a date to confirm by, buying works until then. Otherwise Plan & billing and the pricing page send you to the Check your inbox page (where the site only holds back buying, the buttons that start a payment do): see Sign up and confirm your email.
- In the Panoramr mobile app the Plan & billing link is hidden. Use a web browser.
What the page shows
- Your plan: the plan's name, a tag that says where it stands (
Active,Ends 12 March 2027,Payment failed,Included with your accountorNo paid plan), its price and when it is next paid for. Under it, when they apply: a red box that says the last payment failed and that the account has the Free plan's limits until it is paid, with Update card; an amber box that says the plan ends, with Keep my plan; a box that says a change is waiting for the renewal, with Keep my current plan; one offer (Pay yearly and savefor a monthly plan, orUpgrade tothe next plan up); and, on the top plan, a note about Vaults and Enterprise. - What you use: a bar each for the panoramas you have uploaded, the panoramas hosted without Panoramr branding, and the tours public on Explore. A bar turns amber from 80% of its limit and red at the limit.
- Plans: a card for each plan with its price, its limits and its button. Pro is £99 a year only: its card says Billed yearly only. Agency has Yearly and Monthly buttons: £360 a year or £36 a month. Talk to us on the Enterprise box opens the Contact page. Plans, prices and limits compares them.
- Payment card, Billing details and Payments, read from Stripe: Invoices, billing history and your card says what is there.
Pricing & Upgrades in the menu that opens when you click your name or picture opens the pricing page: for an account with a plan it sends you to Plan & billing, and otherwise it shows the plans. The public pricing page puts your own plan on its buttons, in the same words.
Start a plan
For an account with no plan:
- Open Plan & billing.
- On the plan's card pick Yearly or Monthly (Pro is yearly only) and click
Start. - Pay on Stripe's checkout page, which asks for your billing address. Stripe then brings you back to the Dashboard.
Your plan changes when Stripe tells Panoramr about the payment. If the Subscription Package card on the My profile page still shows the old plan after you reload, write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc with your receipt.
After you start or upgrade a plan, a tour in a Pro theme shows visitors your own design at once, Download my design unlocks and saving designs works. To host a tour without Panoramr's branding, open the tour's Publish tab, then Hosting, tick Host in my plan and save: see Free publishing, plan hosting or a Vault. If the tour has Draft Workflows on, visitors get your own design only after you click Publish Changes. See My changes do not show for visitors.
Change a plan you have
- Open Plan & billing and click the button on the plan's card:
Upgrade to,Switch to yearly,Switch to monthlyorMove to. The offer in the box under Your plan is the same button. - A page headed Review your change says what it will do: the plan you have and the one you are moving to, with their prices, when the change starts, how the limits change under What changes, and what you gain or lose. Nothing has changed yet.
- Click Continue to Stripe. Stripe's own page shows the amount and asks you to confirm. Back returns to Plan & billing and changes nothing.
- Stripe brings you back to Plan & billing, which says
Your change went to Stripeand looks for the new plan by itself for a short while, because Stripe tells Panoramr a moment after you confirm. If the plan has not changed after a minute, reload the page.
When a change starts. A change to a lower price, or from yearly to monthly, starts when your plan renews: you keep what you paid for until then, nothing is charged today, and Plan & billing says Moving to Pro, billed yearly, on 12 March 2027. You keep Agency until then. Keep my current plan drops the change. Any other change starts at once, and Stripe's page shows the amount for the rest of the period. So Agency monthly to yearly starts now, and so does Agency monthly to Pro, whose yearly price is higher; Agency yearly to monthly or to Pro waits for the renewal. Pro to Agency monthly also waits, because Agency's monthly price is lower than Pro's yearly one: choose Yearly on the Agency card to start now.
Tours and panoramas. If the new plan hosts fewer panoramas than you host now (for example Agency to Pro: 360 to 250), the review page lists the tours that would leave plan hosting when the change starts, the newest first, and says they stay online with Panoramr's branding. To keep one hosted without branding, give it a Vault. If you have more panoramas than the new plan lets you upload, it says so: you keep every one, and you cannot add more until you are under the limit.
A plan that is ending is kept first (below), and one whose last payment failed is paid first: click Update card. A plan that was arranged with us, or an older one that is not one of today's, is changed by us: Your plan says so and links to the Contact page.
Keep a plan that is ending
When a plan has been cancelled but has not reached its end date, Your plan shows an amber box with the date it ends. Click Keep my plan and it carries on.
Cancel a plan
Click Cancel plan under Your plan. Stripe's own page asks you to confirm, and the plan runs to the end of what you paid for: Plan & billing then says Ends 12 March 2027, with Keep my plan if you change your mind. If you cannot find a way to cancel, write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc.
Manage Billing on the My profile page and View full billing page in Stripe open Stripe's billing portal, where your card, your details and your invoices are. What else the portal offers is set in Stripe, not in Panoramr. The Terms of Service cover fees, changing a package and ending the contract (clauses 2.5, 3 and 7).
If you have no account yet
You can buy Pro or Agency without an account. You make the account on the way, on a page between the prices and Stripe. Nothing is charged until you pay on Stripe's page.
- Open the public pricing page, pick Monthly or Yearly (Pro is yearly only), and click the button on the plan's card. A page headed Create your account opens. The card on the right shows the plan, how it is billed and its price, which excludes VAT. Edit opens Free, Pro and Agency so you can choose another plan without leaving the page: what you typed stays, and Done closes the list. A plan that has both periods has a link on the card that switches between yearly and monthly. The card also says who can cancel the payment within 14 days: see Refunds.
- Type your Name, Email and Password (the Show button reveals what you typed), or click Continue with Google, Continue with Microsoft or Continue with Facebook. If you already have an account, click Log in: once you are signed in you come back to the same page, with the plan kept.
- What happens next depends on how the site is set, and the page says which. Either the button reads Create account and the page then says Check your email: click the link in the email, which brings you back to this page, then click Continue to payment. Or the button reads
Create account and payand the price, and Stripe's page opens at once: the confirmation email follows, you have a day or so (the page names the hours) to click its link, and an amber bar at the top counts down. - Pay on Stripe's checkout page, which asks for your billing address, as for any upgrade.
Choosing Free in the list turns the page into a plain free sign-up: the button reads Create free account, nothing is paid, and you land where any new account does.
If you started a trial tour without an account, creating the account keeps it. Sign up, confirm your email and sign in says what an account can do before its email is confirmed.
When a plan ends
Your plan comes from your Stripe subscription. While it is current, which includes a subscription you cancelled that has not reached its end date, you keep the plan. It stops being current when it has ended, and also when Stripe marks it past due, unpaid or incomplete (for example after a renewal payment that fails). The account is then on Free without anyone cancelling. The app deletes nothing. The Terms of Service (clause 7.6) say we will delete your account following termination of the contract, and this page cannot say how that is applied: if it matters to you, write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc before you cancel. What changes:
| What | What happens |
|---|---|
| Tours, panoramas, hotspots and the library | All stay, even above the Free limits. |
| Adding more | Limits are checked when you add. An account at or over its limit cannot add more panoramas: see What you get on a Free account. |
| Tours in plan hosting | The plan hosts 0 panoramas, so they leave plan hosting, the newest first. They stay online with Panoramr's branding, in their own design, and embeds keep working. They count toward free publishing (250 panoramas in 10 tours), the oldest first; a tour that does not fit becomes private, and you are told. Nothing is deleted. After you upgrade again, tick Host in my plan on the tour; to host it now, put it in a Vault. |
| Tours listed on Explore, never hosted | They stay listed, within the free publishing totals. |
| Vaults | Not affected. A Vault belongs to its tour and runs to its end date, and its panoramas still count toward what your account can hold. |
| Downloads and saved designs | Download my design is locked, also for a tour in a Vault: a Vault is hosting, not a download. Designs you saved stay, and saving a new one needs a paid plan. |
| A lower paid plan | The lower plan's limits apply in the same way. From Agency to Pro, the panoramas you can host without branding go from 360 to 250, and what the account can hold from 3,600 to 1,000. Tours past the new hosting limit leave plan hosting as above. Nothing is removed. |
Refunds
To ask for a plan payment back, write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc and say which payment it is. The Terms of Service (clause 13) say when you have a right to cancel. A Vault is canceled from its own page: see Cancel a Vault and get your money back.
Troubleshooting
A red bar says Billing is not available right now. Please try again later. Stripe is not set up on the server at the moment. Try again later, then write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc.
A red bar says We could not open the billing portal. Please try again later. The billing portal did not open. Try again; if it keeps happening, write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc.
Plan & billing or a button that starts a payment sends me to the Check your inbox page. Your email address is not confirmed. Click the link in the email we sent, or use Resend link.
I made my account to buy a plan and did not reach Stripe. If the page said Check your email, click the link in the email: it brings you back to the plan's page, where Continue to payment opens Stripe. If you chose to pay first and the page says We could not reach our payment provider. Nothing was charged. Please try again in a minute., the account is made and you are signed in: click Continue to payment to try again.
I paid, but the plan has not changed. Reload the page: Stripe tells Panoramr a moment after a payment. If it still shows the old plan after a few minutes, write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc with your receipt.
A message says You already have a plan, so we have not started another one. A checkout always starts a new subscription, so an account that already has a plan is sent to Plan & billing instead. Change the plan there.
A message says That change is not available on your plan right now. Your plan is ending, its last payment failed, or it was arranged with us. Click Keep my plan or Update card first, or write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc.
A red bar says We could not open Stripe to change your plan. Please try again later. (or to cancel your plan). Stripe's page did not open. Try again; if it keeps happening, write to moc.rmaronap@tcatnoc.
A message says There was nothing to keep. or You have no plan to cancel. The plan had already carried on, or you have no plan. Reload Plan & billing.
I cancelled, but the plan still shows. A subscription you cancelled counts as current until its end date.
I cannot find Plan & billing. In the Panoramr mobile app the link is hidden. Open Panoramr in a web browser.
