My Tours: find, filter and open your tours

The My Tours table: what each column and status chip means, the filters, search and sort, the Edit button and more menu, and where a deleted tour goes.

Reference8 min read Updated

On this page

The My Tours page lists every tour you can open, in one table: your own, the ones shared with you and the ones you have shared with others. Use it to find a tour, see whether it is live, and open it in the editor. To make a tour, see Create your first tour in Panoramr.

Who can use it. Every signed-in account. Open it from the Tours tab of your account. A tour that someone else owns appears here while you are one of its collaborators, and stays until they remove you.

Plans. Every plan has the page. A plan can set a limit on how many tours you make; today the Free plan has unlimited draft tours, and so do the paid plans. An account whose plan has a limit, such as a trial account (one tour), sees the Create tour button at the top right become Upgrade to Pro when the limit is reached.

The table

Tours table

One row for each tour: a picture, the tour's name with a line of facts under it, then the status, where it is hosted, its views and when it was last edited.

Where: Tours tab of your account (My Tours). Default: Newest edit first, ten rows a page, every tour shown. What it does: The picture and the name both open the tour in the editor, on its Tour tab. The line under the name says how many panoramas the tour has, then its category if it has one, and Shared by you when you have collaborators on it. On a narrow screen the columns fold into that line: the hosting and the number of views move under the name, and the status chip sits under it too. What visitors see: Nothing. The table is only for you. Related: Your tours in the editor.

Filter chips

Five chips above the table narrow it to a kind of tour. Each shows how many tours it holds.

Where: The row of buttons at the top left of My Tours. Default: All What it does: All shows every tour. Hosted shows the tours that have a Vault term or are in your plan's hosting. Published shows the tours whose chip reads Published or On Explore. Drafts shows the tours whose chip reads Draft. Shared shows the tours that are someone else's and shared with you, and your own tours that have collaborators. Choosing a chip goes back to the first page. What visitors see: Nothing. Related: Status chip.

Search tours

Type a few letters to keep only the tours whose name or category contains them.

Where: The box at the top right of My Tours, next to the sort menu. Default: Empty. What it does: Matches the name or the category of the tour, in any case, anywhere in the word. It works within the chip you chose. What visitors see: Nothing.

Sort

Choose the order of the rows.

Where: The menu at the top right of My Tours. Default: Sort: last edited What it does: Sort: last edited puts the tour changed most recently first. Sort: most views puts the most viewed first. Sort: name orders by name, A to Z. What visitors see: Nothing.

Status chip

A colored word on each row that says whether visitors can open the tour.

Where: The status column; on a narrow screen under the name. Default: Draft for a new tour. What it does: The chips, in the order they are decided:

Chip Meaning
Offline, Account deleted, Kept, On hold Our team holds the tour. These are red.
Published The tour is hosted (in a Vault or your plan) and published, or it is not hosted and is open to visitors.
Not published The tour is hosted but not published, so visitors cannot open it.
On Explore The tour is not hosted and is on Explore. A hosted tour keeps Published or Not published.
Shared The tour is someone else's and shared with you.
Draft None of the above: only you and your collaborators can open it.

What visitors see: A draft shows them Tour not published. A published tour opens. Related: Free publishing and plan hosting.

Hosting

Where the tour is hosted, from the Vault or your plan.

Where: The Hosting column (wide screens only; on a narrower screen the same words follow the name). Default: Not hosted What it does: In a Vault for a tour in a Vault, Hosted for a tour with a hosting term of its own, In your plan for a tour in your plan's hosting, Shared with you for someone else's tour that is not hosted, Not hosted for the rest. What visitors see: A hosted tour has an address of its own that visitors can open. Related: Vault hosting.

Edit

The button at the end of each row opens the tour in the editor.

Where: The right end of each row. What it does: Opens the tour on its Tour tab.

More menu

A menu of three shortcuts into the tour.

Where: The three dots at the right of each row; the screen-reader name is More for and the tour's name. What it does: Hotspots opens the tour's Hotspots tab, Settings opens its Settings tab and Publish opens its Publish tab. These tabs are in the editor, and Settings is in the Advanced view only.

Pages

The table shows ten tours at a time.

Where: Under the table: a line such as Showing 10 of 23, and two arrows. What it does: Showing 10 of 23 (drafts) names the chip when one is chosen. The arrows Previous and Next move between pages; each is dimmed when there is no page that way. Searching, sorting or choosing a chip goes back to page one.

Starting a tour

Create tour

The main button at the top right.

Where: Top right of My Tours, and of the Dashboard. What it does: Opens the Create Tour page, where you name the tour and choose photos. A tour that is made there before its first photo arrives is listed as Waiting for photos; one that is still empty a day later is moved to the Trash by the system. Needs: Room under your plan's limit of tours, if it has one. At the limit the button reads Upgrade to Pro and opens the plans. Related: Create your first tour in Panoramr.

Import a tour

Next to Create tour. It brings in a tour made in other software, or a .panoramr archive.

Where: Top right of My Tours. Needs: Our team has allowed tour import for your account, and you are under your plan's limit of tours. The button is not drawn otherwise. Related: Import a tour from other software.

Empty list

What the page says when there is nothing to show.

Where: In place of the rows. What it does: With no tours at all it says No tours yet and Make your first tour from a few 360° photos., with a Create tour button. When the chip or the search leaves none it says No tour matches and Try another word, or another filter.

On the Dashboard

Continue editing

The four tours you changed last, as cards.

Where: Dashboard tab, under the numbers; the link All tours opens My Tours. What it does: Each card has the picture, the name, the number of panoramas, when it was edited, a status chip and an Edit button. A new account with no tours sees the first steps instead. Tours that others have shared with you are in a separate Shared with you block.

Getting a deleted tour back

Deleted tours

A tour you move to the Trash leaves this table.

Where: The Asset library tab (Media library), chip Trash, heading Deleted tours. What it does: The tour waits there until you delete it for good; Restore puts it back on this page. Its panoramas stay in your library. A tour that was in a Vault does not return to the Vault. Related: Delete tours and panoramas, and get them back.

Troubleshooting

A tour is missing from the table. Check the chip and the search box: a chip other than All hides the rest. If you deleted it, it is under Deleted tours in the Trash. A tour shared with you disappears when its owner removes you.

The Create tour button says Upgrade to Pro. Your plan's limit of tours is reached. Move a tour to the Trash that you no longer need, or choose a bigger plan.

A tour shows Not published. It is hosted but the owner has not published it. Open its Publish tab.
